Every occupied plate receives a claimable mimic crate for a short time, containing a random tool, nothing, or a bomb.
How to survive it
Watch for the warning markers before it lands, keep moving between plates, and don't stand where the trajectory lines cross. In Hardcore rounds the warnings are switched off.
